Learning is the school’s core purpose and its commitment to building learning power ensures that our students develop and exercise those learning muscles that will enable them to be confident, independent and successful lifelong learners. During their time with us, our students become aware of their own preferred learning styles and develop new skills to aid independent study. They are expected to become resilient and reflective learners and to practice reciprocal and resourceful learning strategies intuitively.
The opportunities that students enjoy outside the classroom are just as important as the main curriculum. Our Extra Curricular Activities (ECA) programme is extensive and varied. We want children to have a go at a wide range of sports, outward bound, service and cultural activities. We like the idea of everyone taking part and of young people honing their skills while broadening their knowledge.
